About Us

The Kentisbeare Players has been running for over twenty years and is a lively amateur dramatic society, which brings alternative takes (and in some cases extremely alternative takes) on much beloved classic fairy tales, in true pantomime style!  Oh, yes we do!

Geoff Nicholson writes our pantomimes each and every year and how his mind conjures up the wonderful worlds about which he writes, is anyone guess!  He works exceptionally hard on all the characters like a scholar and carefully selects all the songs like a musical genius!

We have a lovely cast of actors who generously give up their time to rehearse and learn the script and the songs and the choreography and everything else that gets thrown at them and we also have a whole host of others who help behind the scenes with the set, the lighting, the sound, the music, the props and all the backstage preparations!
